“Second Life of a Tie” is aiming to promote an eco-friendly attitude, offer a better understanding of the circular economy principles including zero waste, and provide support for children in need.

As part of the initiative, all Securitas offices in Poland will collect used ties, scarves, and jewelries, which will be later passed to the University. The objects will be used in a series of upcycling workshops driven by local artists, who will offer the objects a second life.

The items will be auctioned during a charity gala taking place in December and the donations will be directed towards supporting children in need.

“It is with immense joy that we got involved in the project "The Second Life of a Tie", such actions are tailored to our values (Vigilance, Helpfulness, Honesty) and our goal: "We help to make the world a safer place". Safety is, of course, an integral part of our strategy, which we also implement in the field of sustainable operation in the field of ecology.” says Marek Skowronek, COO, Member of the Management Board of Securitas Services Sp.zo.o.
